The corrugated wall shape of the AlgaTube™️ increases the photon surface area (PSA) by more than 2x relative to a comparable, cylindrical tube. This improves photon distribution and the photosynthetic productivity of a tubular photobioreactor. It also reduces water usage. The AlgaTube™️ is made of clear virgin acrylic. Adapters, connectors, u-turns, and in-line probe holders are custom made to fit precisely with the special shape of the AlgaTube™️.
